Did you get our February Hot Stuff box? If not, here’s a detailed look into all the spicy surprises included in our spicy box. I usually plan these boxes months in advance but do not get into the actual brands and details until about a month and a half before. For example, our next box for Spring ships in April and I already know what types of products I’m going to include, I just need to finalize them. So while I’m shipping one box, the plans are already in the works for the next two boxes. The February Hot Stuff box is always fun because I love including Valentine’s themed items like this “You had me at spicy” mug!
You Had Me at Spicy Mug
You have all probably seen Jerry Maguire and like Tom & Renee, fallen for foods at first sound of the word spicy. I designed this mug with true spicy food lovers in mine because for me personally, when I hear that something is spicy, my ears perk up and I start to salivate! Haha! How about you? The “You had me at Spicy” mug is not just to show off your love of spicy foods but a testament to how excited we all get when we hear spicy!
Something Sweet & Chocolatey
You cannot have a Valentine’s themed box without chocolate! While these gourmet chocolates from Elements Truffles are not very spicy, the Cayenne infused bar does have a nice lingering heat that I think you’ll appreciate. The Cinnamon Orange & Clove bar has an amazing citrusy flavor as well. I love that the chocolates are organic, raw, sweetened with local honey and contain no refined sugars, emulsifiers or preservatives. I have to say though, you can’t eat these like regular milk chocolates. Dark chocolate does not melt as easily so you’ll have to chew, savor and hold in your mouth and you’ll feel the heat right away! So delicious and decadent!
Creamy & Fiery Honey
Love hot toddy’s on cold Winter nights? You are going to love it even more with a bit of creamed honey from Palm Beach Creamed Honey company! Another addition to February’s Hot Stuff box is their super spicy honey. Also great on toast, tea, spread on pancakes, you name it. How would you use it?
Featured Hot Sauce for February
One item my subscribers always look forward to is the featured hot sauce for the box. You cannot go wrong with any Clark & Hopkins brand of hot sauces. Their entire collection of sauces is delicious and inspired by global cuisines. I included another of their sauces, Assam, as a subscriber bonus for my August 2021 box and had to grab another for my February Hot Stuff box. Their Georgia hot sauce is a collaboration with Blackberry Smoke, a Southern rock band from Georgia and delivers nice roasted pepper flavors and heat you’ll want to pour on everything.
Let’s Celebrate Lunar New Year
I added a little something to celebrate Lunar New Year with this yummy chili crisp from Mr Bing. I love drizzling it on dumplings, eggs and most Asian dishes. I included a recipe card in the box as I usually do for my General Tso recipe. You can try it on these wontons or my scallion pancakes as well. This chili crisp is mildly spicy and has bits of onion, garlic, mushroom powder and spices for crunchy, spicy flavors we all crave.

So many goods in this February Hot Stuff box! I also included my very own, exclusive t-shirts designed by yours truly. Each box include a different t-shirt. I always loved finding spicy themed t-shirts but could never find designs I liked. Most spicy brands offer tees but most are logo merchandise that never really appealed to me.
