So excited to share that a stoner tried Hot Lollies spicy subscription box! I use that term “stoner” affectionately by the way, because while I don’t get high I’m all for the use of natural, medicinal goods. Also, hemp is actually pretty fantastic. It really should be in everyone’s home – it’s easy to grow and is better for the environment than cotton. I have been following Chrissy Harless‘s Beauty box channel on YouTube and was floored when she agreed to review my Hot Stuff spicy food box! I knew she loved snacking but had no idea she also had a Cannabis/Hemp box channel with over 27K followers. This cannabis channel aligned much better because what stoner doesn’t love yummy snacks?!
I was so nervous to watch it but love how it all turned out – felt so bad for her too! You see, she’s not a big fan of spicy foods. She did incredibly well considering there was a Carolina Reaper jerky in box! Each box includes a mixed bag of spice levels because I know that while many love super hot foods, there are more people that love milder heat levels. I want to reach an audience that enjoys spicy foods but also does not want to be assaulted with heat.
For me, peppers and spices should enhance the flavor of foods, not mask it, so I ensure that each of my boxes includes a good variety. This is also the best way to build your tolerance, by gradually increasing the level of heat and trying different ethnic foods. My Hot Stuff foodie box brings you all of that and more. Perhaps a spicy cocktails box or lingerie…hmm my signals are firing off. The subscription box service has seen significant growth over the past few years and even more so during the pandemic. More people are shopping online because of the shutdowns so if your business isn’t online yet then maybe it’s time to offer your loyal customers a subscription service.
